Get it off me, get it off me!!!
So I was in the supermarket a while back and saw this very odd, hand-shaped yellow thing called Buddha's hand citrus fruit. It looked like a yellow hand with about 8 or 9 fingers coming out of the palm. It was really freaky, and had the skin texture of an orange or lemon. Man is that weird!
Upon further research of this freak fruit, I found that it's not used for the small amount of acidic juice inside, but for the zestful flavor of the rind. The peel is used for flavoring meals, scenting perfumes, and infusing flavor into vodkas and other liquors.
